Hey, let's say Howdy, to a new member.... Judy Williams.
We had a videographer do some filming at our 50th Reunion. It has been edited and put together into a DVD. (Yes, with sound and color!!!!) The length of the DVD, time-wise, is 1:20:41. We are in the process of making it available to all Demos who are interested.
Presently, we do not know what the final price will be. The reason being that the price, including "shipping and handling" will depend on how many get ordered. The greater the volume, the lower the price. We are hoping to get enough orders to keep the price around $15.00
If we can generate enough interest to be able to make them available at that price, please let us know if you would like to order one. This is NOT a committment to buy ... we are simply trying to get a rough idea of the number of orders that we would be able to run by the videographer, to negotiate the best price.
If you would be interested, please let me know. A simple "Yes" will do. However if you have comments or questions ... you know me .... just holler.

DEMOS STILL DOING THINGS
A big thanks to Tom and Jean Bispham for sending this to me ... regarding Richard ... yes .. Dick ... Winwood. We are proud of you and Judy.
Northwest Disciples Wrestling Club is a non-profit amateur wrestling club for youth in the Albina Community. It was started in 2002 by the late, Travis West, the late Jefferson H.S. wrestling coach. Travis is a local legend, as he was a State Champion (Benson H.S.), Natl. Collegiate Champion (Portand State),and a member of the US Olympic Team. Truly dedicated to the sport and to using it as a means to help disadvantaged kids, he started the Club at Jefferson and led it until his death in 2004. Travis's dedication and personality resulted in those associated with him and the Club, to commit to continuing his work. The Club is now coached by Jeff's wrestling coaches, Montral and Robert Brazile and continues to be one of the very successful teams in the NW, but more importantly developing good citizens and future leaders. Running a team like this takes money, as the costs for tournament entry fees, natl. registration and insurance, travels costs, uniforms, etc. costs about $30,000/yr. The purpose of this message is to acknowledge some of the major supporters to the program. First, the Juan Young Trust has annually granted the team $5,000. The Albina Rotary (through the support of Caroly Brown, Jeff Class '63)has annually provides $1,000. A most generous benefactor is our own Dick Winwood who over the years has provided uniforms, money to fly the team and coaches to the national championships in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and twice to Provo, Utah, This year, Dich and his son, Richie, completely outfitted the team with new shorts, tshirts, travel bags, sweats a hoodies, and caps. The kids really look sharp and have a stronger sense of team and pride in being associated with Albina and Jefferson. NW Disciples can't thank Dick and family enough, but think it appropriate to let our classmates know what one of our own has been doing to give back to our community and kids that really need direction, discipline, work ethic, and leadership. Winwoods, thank you so much.
According to our Seaside Gazette Cub Reporter, or should that be .... Clam Reporter ... Dick Finzer reports: While spending the week in Phoenix, Jan (Noles) Carney had a hole in one at the Club West Golf Course.
I love receiving info on our Demos Who Are Still Doing Things. If you have anything to share ... please let me know. Ken Roberts

Wow, to all my classmates who participated in OKLAHOMA (senior choir "show"). I just watched the movie on TV and thought of Tamara Clark, Carole Nasman, Michael Jordan, Jeff Tague and Dawn Barnes. I don't even have a yearbook close by (attic?) but sung my heart out with all of you and many more. Thanks for the memories.
Carole, I agree and yes, that was our Sr year. Ken
